Barnoon Arts

Barnoon Arts was  founded in 2015 by practising artists Zoe Eaton and Peter Giles in. Our work is shaped by an ongoing dialogue between intuition, observation, process and material play. We believe that art is a shared experience:  Through our teaching, exhibitions, and collaborative projects, we create spaces where people can explore ideas, develop skills, and discover their own creative voice. We aim to cultivate a creative community that is generous, inclusive and forward looking, whilst rooted in the deep artistic heritage of St Ives.

VISIT THE GALLERY in a quirky, characterful building on Westcotts Quay, overlooking St Ives Harbour. We showcase contemporary original artwork, unique prints, handmade artists’ cards - alongside a small range of Art Materials including Seawhites' sketchbooks, pads and papers, Winsor & Newton paints & mediums, canvas, brushes, and drawing materials.

ART CLASSES are offered all year round,   Take a look at our events page for full details.  We also offer art workshops for large groups, schools and private lessons.
