In an increasingly digital world, this exhibition highlights how traditional, tactile mediums continue to evolve — remaining fresh, relevant, and distinctly contemporary. We invite artists based in the UK to submit work for our Winter Open Call exhibition, PAPER — a celebration of artworks on or made with paper or card.
Artwork Requirements
We are inviting artists to submit up to three artworks for exhibition display. These may include:
Ready‑to‑hang works on paper or card. Maximum size 90 cm in any direction including frame. To include drawing, painting, printing, photography, collage..
3D sculptures made from card or paper or paper mache. Ready to display on a plinth or shelf, or suitable for suspension. Maximum size 90 cm in any direction.
There is no particular requirement for framing of work - please provide clear instructions for hanging.
If your works are for sale, please clearly state the full selling price - taking into account that there is a 30% commission on any sales.
In addition, artists may submit up to three unframed works for the browser. These should be wrapped, labelled, and suitable for placement in a browser or rack. Maximum size A3, including mount.
ENTRY FEE : £10 which includes:
Up to 3 exhibition display works
Up to 3 unframed browser works (A3 max)
entrants are guaranteed inclusion of at least one unframed browser work (A3 max)
There is an additional 30% commission on any sales
KEY DATES / Closing date For Entries: 31 October / Delivery of accepted work: Sunday 8 Nov 2026 (Postal deliveries accepted) / Private View: Saturday 14 Nov, 5–7pm / Collection of works: Saturday 9 Jan 2027
NOTES FOR SUBMISSION: - Please submit your entries online first for selection. Feel free to enter as early as possible before the closing date. Successful works can then be delivered to the gallery. You may drop off works in person or post them to us. We will accept at least one unframed work from every entrant . Works will be selected according to fit with the exhibition, overall merit, and size considerations. Due to limited space, smaller works have a higher likelihood of being accepted.

‘The Sorting Room’ – Exhibition Hire 2027
Our beautiful light‑filled exhibition space, The Sorting Room, is available to hire for selected slots throughout 2027. This sits alongside our curated programme and open‑call exhibitions (please enquire separately for those opportunities).
The space is suitable for both group and solo shows. Facilities include full WiFi, a tea and coffee station, and large windows providing excellent natural light.
Hire Fee £200 per week (up to three week slots available).
Additional Costs If your exhibition requires invigilation — including taking sales, wrapping work, or general supervision — an additional commission is be payable on any sales.
