INDOOR VENUE: Our beautiful New Function room in the Old Sorting Room, 1st Floor, Tregenna Place TR26 1SD - a light airy room, with a tea & coffee making station. This comfortably sits 25 people for workshop mode.
**The upstairs rooms at Tregenna Place, for indoor sessions are not fully accessible - we can arrange alternative accommodation for those with mobility issues, please ask**.
OUTDOOR SESSIONS: We are a just a short walk from many beautiful outdoor spaces including gardens, beaches and St Ives Harbour.
Costs & Subjects
SUBJECTS: Pick from our suggested list here, or enquire about other subjects.
TIMINGS: Sessions typically last from 90 minutes, to two and a half hours, and usually start at 10am or 2pm.
COST: There’s a minimum group inclusive fee for each session, for up to 10 People - plus an additional cost per head for each extra person. Please enquire about your group.
WHATS INCLUDED Price is fully inclusive of all materials, tuition and Refreshments are included in the indoor sessions.
Draw St Ives
90 minutes / min £150 / Experience the beautiful scenery of St Ives with a Guided outdoor sketching session using pen, graphite and pencil.
Water Colour Painting
2 hours session / min £250 / Choose from: plein air landscapes, or an indoor session for abstract, interiors or still life.
Sketchboooking
2 hours / min £250 / Tips and techniques using mixed media - to fill an A5 sketchbook and capture a sense of place. Indoor our outdoor.
Paint a Canvas
2 + hours / min £300 / Guided tutor support for painting on A4 or A3 canvas, with acrylic paints. Help with composition, colour mixing, mastering paint and brush techniques, to create your finished work of art. Choose from: Landscapes / St Ives Abstraction / Still Life
Portraits
2 + hours / min £250 / Gain insights into creating portraits from life. Create portraits of each other in your group, or of a model. Choose from drawing media / watercolours / Acrylic paint on board / gouache or mixed media on paper.
Abstract Drawing
2.5 hours / £300 / Delve into the meditative process of abstraction with artist Peter Giles - using a variety of drawing media and create a final piece on quality papers.
